New Vegas Out Of Memory With 4gb

Hi, I am trying to render a 13 minute video in 1080p at 25fps using sony Vegas on a i5 processor with 4gb DDR3 ram. I get about 2 hours into the rendering then i keep getting a out of memory error!!! What can i do about this? There is no way the computer cant handle it. From viewing task manager the max load the cpu was under was 40% and the memory 30%.
